Why Chemically Clean:
Pressure cleaning roof surfaces will loosen and destroy granules on asphalt shingles, and will chip, crack, break, and bleed color from tiles. It greatly reduces the life of your roof and is not approved by roofing manufacturers. It will only rinse mold and mildew from the roof surface, leaving the spores alive with fungus, the result...a completely black roof in only nine months.

Chemically cleaning your roof is both safe and extremely effective. RBK Diversified’s exclusive chemical mixture cleans on contact, dissolving mold/mildew at the root and depositing a preventative algaecide in its place. The algaecide is not rinsed from your roof surface, which allows complete penetration for the longest duration between cleanings. Generally tile roofs will need full cleanings every 2.5 years and shingle roofs every 3 years.

Be assured that all effective chemical mixtures are comprised of the same basic components and some of the latest “non-toxic, fertilizer based, plant friendly-all natural” chemicals are merely gimmicks designed for sales. Companies are being started daily claiming to have brand new kinds of chemicals and even up to five year warranties. These companies can be purchased inexpensively through a franchisee and can be started in a weekend with no work experience. Nearly all carry insufficient workman’s comp. insurance, and go out of business long before their promised warranties expire.

Do your homework first. Be sure companies are licensed, have full workman’s comp. insurance, are members of the Better Business Bureau (without filed complaints), and have been legally doing business for several years in the same location. Ask for references and current certificates.

Landscape:
Landscaping needs special care and attention to detail while the process is being done. We take extra care, and have at least one plant technician watering and covering plants as necessary the entire duration of your cleaning. Soil and foliages are diluted before, during, and after chemical treatment. If areas are exposed without gutter protection, plants are covered with protective landscape tarps.
